BRC Fencing: Specifications, Applications, and Benefits China

A BRC Fencing, which you might also hear called a roll top fence, stands out with its curved top and bottom. The "roll top" name comes from these smooth, rolled edges. This kind of fence adds a twist to the regular welded wire mesh by bending the wire at the top and bottom, which not only makes it look unique but also adds extra strength. It uses thick steel wires that can stand up to hard knocks and still offer you a clear view. This means you can easily see through it, even at night.

Where is it Popular?

The BRC fence is a big hit in places like Singapore, Japan, South Korea, and across Southeast Asia. It's built strong with heavy-duty steel and those clever bends at the edges for safety that doesn't skimp on looks. This combo of durability and design makes it a top pick for keeping places like parking lots, airports, and swimming pools safe. It’s also great for adding a touch of style to neighborhoods or for sprucing up gardens, parks, and zoo enclosures.

Why Choose BRC Fencing?

People love BRC fences because they're both useful and good-looking. They do a top job as security barriers without looking clunky or industrial. If you want a fence that works hard and plays nice with your space's look, BRC is the way to go.

Material Used:

  • We use a kind of soft steel wire known as Q195 and Q235 to make BRC fences.

Coating for Durability:

  • For a Really Strong Coating: We dip the wire in hot galvanized material, which leaves a thick, protective layer of 505 grams per square meter.
  • For a Lighter Coating: First, we apply a thin layer of zinc that's between 8–12 grams per square meter, then we add a colorful PVC/PE coat that's about 0.8–1.2 mm thick.
  • Another Option: We start with the same zinc coating and then put on a polyester powder coating that’s about 0.1 mm thick.

BRC Fencing Wire Thickness:

  • The wires we use are between 3.0 mm and 6.0 mm thick - that's about as thick as the lead in your pencil to just under the thickness of a standard pencil.

Size of Fence Panels:

  • Height: We can make them anywhere from 900 mm (about the height of a baseball bat) to 2400 mm (as tall as a door).
  • Width: They range from 1000 mm (about as wide as a large fridge) to 3000 mm (as wide as a small car).
  • Mesh Size: The holes in the mesh come in various sizes, from 50 × 100 mm (can fit a small phone) to 100 × 300 mm (big enough for a shoe).

Color Choices:

  • You can pick any color you like! Green like leaves, black like the night, white like snow, gray like a dolphin, red like a tomato, yellow like the sun, and blue like the ocean are the most popular.

Supporting Parts - Posts and Clamps:

  • Post Material: We use square or round steel pipes.
  • Post Coating: Same as the wire, we can give it a zinc layer or a more protective galvanized coating, and then finish it off with a powder coat.
  • Post Thickness: The posts come in three thicknesses - 1.5 mm (thin like a dime), 2.0 mm (as thick as a nickel), and 2.5 mm (think of a quarter).
  • Post Height: We match the height of the posts to the height of your fence panel.
  • Types of Posts: You can choose between round or square-shaped posts to support your fence.

Standards Followed BRC Fencing :

  • For the Fence Itself: We make sure our BRC fences meet the EN 10223-4 standard. This is like a rulebook that tells us how to properly make welded wire mesh for fences.
  • For the Wire We Use: We follow the EN 10218-2 standard to make sure the wire is the right size and shape.
  • For the Zinc Coating: Our fences are coated according to EN 10244-2 standards. This ensures the zinc or zinc alloy coating keeps the fence strong and rust-free.
  • For the Colorful Coating: When we add colors to the wire, we stick to the EN 10245-4 standard. This is all about putting on a plastic-like coat that makes the wire colorful and lasts a long time.

How We Pack Everything BRC Fencing :

  • Fence Panels: We carefully stack them up on metal or wooden pallets. We alternate the direction of each panel (one up, one down) to keep them safe. Then we strap them together and wrap them in plastic to keep them clean and dry.
  • Fence Posts: Just like the panels, we stack the posts on pallets and make sure each one gets its own plastic bag for protection.
  • Small Parts: All the little bits and pieces that you need to put the fence together (like screws and clips) are neatly packed into a cardboard box.
